In Loving Memory

Obituary

Chris was born in Cheverly to Issac and Karen Myers and grew up as an energetic athlete who competed in various sports such as tennis and cross country. He was also a talented golfer and toyed with the idea of turning pro. He was an Eagle Scout and earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting as well as a Master's in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Chris dedicated his life to starting and developing multiple companies over the years that addressed the ever-evolving needs of software applications. For over 20 years Chris' companies worked with many Fortune 500 businesses developing, implementing and validating software solutions. His recent focus was on Cloud Engineering.

Chris had a passion for everything and everyone in his life. His hobbies included driving and racing fast cars, golfing and hiking in the mountains. He loved traveling visiting many places around the world. Chris had a big heart. For many years he sponsored children in need from Mexico and kept in touch with heartfelt written letters to and from the children he supported. Chris loved reading their responses and was touched by the positive impact it would make on their lives. It was his nature to help others.

Life was never easy for Chris but he accomplished a lot while being orphaned at an early age. He overcame many obstacles and over the years adopted many friends as his surrogate family. He developed and love and bond that was stronger than most outsiders would understand with the Ibarra, Eyzaguirre, Martinez, Nelson and Brown families. He will be dearly missed by them all.

He is survived by his sister Kimberly Fore of Cross Junction, VA,; nephews Liam, Wyatt, Henry and Christopher; his maternal grandmother Agnes Kenney as well as his favorite uncle Gary Walters. He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Karen Myers; paternal grandparents Isaac and Ellen Myers as well as his maternal grandfather Ralph Walters.
