In Loving Memory

Obituary

Cynthia was born November 10, 1946 age 72, formerly of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and currently of Reisterstown MD. Peacefully entered eternal life on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Seasons Hospice, Northwest Hospital Randallstown, MD.

She was preceded in death by her parents the late Joseph Robert Roebuck II and Sarajane Rice Roebuck; her brothers Joseph Robert Roebuck III and Randolph Stewart Roebuck. She is survived by her only son Orlando Seth Roebuck of Harrisburg PA and her sisters Marsha Roberta Roebuck of Baltimore MD and Monica Roebuck-Obi (Ben) of Burtonsville MD.

Cynthia graduated from Carlisle Senior High School in 1964 and she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Texas Southern University, Houston TX in 1971. She was employed as Administrative Secretary and remained in related employment working well with people of all ages. She was a patient instructor and mentor. Cynthia had a green thumb and knew how to apply her "make up". She loved cooking, singing and was able to converse with anyone intelligently.

We remember her smile and the ability to select the appropriate Christmas gift for anyone. Although Cynthia had mental challenges during most of her life, she loved life and enjoyed talking about the truths in God's Word. During her last days before going to the hospice floor, we sang praises to God and expressed His promises. One of her favorite hymns was "What A Friend We Have In Jesus."

Cynthia was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Carlisle for many years where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. From time to time Cynthia attended Christian Life Church in Baltimore where she lived for the last years of her life.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory, her son Orlando, her sisters, nieces, a great niece, nephews and great nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and a host of additional family relatives and friends.

Cynthia's body was entrusted to Tri-State Funeral Services of Washington DC. Per her wishes, Cynthia was cremated. A private interment into the family plot will be held in the future.

Cynthia would want you to remember her as you look at ALMIGHTY GOD's sunrises and sunsets. Please direct all condolences and expressions of sympathy to her family and sign her official guest book at www.TristateFuneralServices.com.
